Ed Carpenter Racing Unveils Paint Scheme for No. 20 Car
Fuzzy’s Premium Vodka has long been a supporter of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Indy 500 and the racing community. Since first sponsoring Ed Carpenter’s entry in the 2010 Indianapolis 500, we have partnered closely with Ed Carpenter Racing. Over the past eight years, Fuzzy’s Premium Vodka has enjoyed making its ultra premium vodka available to the racing community.
What better way to kick off our continued partnership and another IndyCar Series racing season than by revealing brand new paint colors? Inspired by Fuzzy’s Ultra Premium Vodka, Ed Carpenter Racing unveiled new vehicle paint colors prior to the IndyCar Series Test at Sonoma Raceway. Ed Carpenter, team owner and driver of the No.20 car, revealed a new, jet-black paint color far removed from his well-known green and gold color scheme. You’ll see Ed Carpenter fly by in the sleek car on the ovals.
British driver Jordan King will also be sporting the new color scheme as he will share the car with Carpenter and will drive the No.20 car on road and street courses. With the addition of King, the beloved Ed Carpenter team has been dubbed “The Allies” as a playful nod to a team comprised of two Americans and one Brit. A second exciting unveiling revealed an updated color scheme to the No. 21 car as well, driven by Spencer Pigot. Sporting a metallic, mint green color, No. 21 will feature gold and white highlights in the season ahead.
This time last year we unveiled two commemorative bottles celebrating the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500. We will soon be unveiling our commemorative bottle, will it realte to the new color scheme of the No. 20 car? We’re afraid we can’t confirm or deny. Stay tuned as we will soon reveal commemorative bottle details for the year!
